I have installed ZK Attendance Management software on my Windows 7 64 bit OS. After installation, when I open the application, I'm getting an error message like "Class not registered". Can you help me solve this issue?

The problem is caused by the DLL that isn't correctly registered on your computer. I recommend that you run the following command to register all the DLL files using the necessary tool.


To do this, go to Start and type CMD. Right click it and select Run as Administrator. Paste the following command and then wait for its finish: FOR /R C:\ %G IN (*.dll) DO "%systemroot%\system32\regsvr32.exe" /s "%G"


Once the command is finished, run the software again and it should work. Additionally, reinstall it using its setup package.

I had installed ZK Attendance system in my laptop in D drive so that I may not install it again and again but last night I reinstalled my Windows 10 and now when I try to open and connect the device it shows CLASS NOT REGISTERED. How to solve it?

The error is caused by the recent installation of Windows 10. When you've installed Windows 10, the registry hive has been deleted as well and the old installation settings were deleted again, that's why the software now refuses to work. You should have backed up the REG file and then reinstall the Windows operating system.


Now, to make the software work, a new installation is necessary, then perform the backup and in the event you will have to reinstall Windows 10 again, the REG needs to be applied and the software will work from its location.


To backup the registry items, go to Start > Run > regedit and expand the HKEY_Local_Machine > Software. Locate the company that developers the ZK Attendance Management, right click it and choose Export. Save the REG file in the installation directory of the software just to be sure.

Why is my software giving this error "Not a valid bookmark" when clicking reports, although it is showing a complete list of all employees in employee management?

I've installed and tested ZK Attendance Management, but I've encountered some NET Framework errors along the way. Also, since I don't have any database to use as a sample, you will have to download the latest version from the website and install it over your currently installed one.


If you have an older version of ZKTime, then I advise going to the official website to download it because it might contain improvements and fixes to current errors.

ZK Attendance Management gives me error : Conversion failed when converting the varchar value to '(data)' data type INT. I have restarted the application but is still giving me the same error.

I've downloaded all the possible manuals and documents related to troubleshooting, but I couldn't find anything about this conversion issue which could mean that it's either a local error or a bug in the application. The developers don't offer anything related to the conversion phase. I simply recommend repeating the operation you were doing at that time, maybe it will work.

This error typically occurs when there is a problem with the bookmark file or bookmark data in the software. Try resetting or recreating the bookmarks to resolve the issue.

We are using attendance management software with a biometric system. I downloaded the information and it showed me that it was completed, but when I clicked the "Report" button, I didn't find any new data. The problem is that I also have checked the option "delete after download". So I don't have any new data! Can I find somewhere that information?

No. After the information is downloaded, it is automatically deleted from its download location. In this matter, it's advised to keep the "delete after download" option unchecked for other situations in which you will need the downloaded data afterwards.
